A Quick Update
As we come up on the end of our first full month as a newsletter, our team has been discussing changes for our readers, and would like to share them with you.
Over the last six weeks of publishing we have realized that our publication seems to lack an identity, simply becoming a "news" outlet, but we want to be more than that and our readers deserve more value. As a result of this, we have decided to turn Andy's Angle into a haven for value investing and are making it our goal to be the strongest value investing publication available to the public.
The biggest change we are discussing revolves around our content, specifically our weekly outlooks and reviews. While we understand the utility of these posts, we are discussing potentially dropping this segment in favor of becoming a more research oriented publication.
What does this look like?
We anticipate this new format to include a slightly lower volume of articles from our current weekly average of 3 articles down to about 2. However, these new articles will focus on individual stock research and we believe will provide more value to our readers, which is our ultimate priority.
These reports will give Andy's Angle a true identity as a newsletter, becoming the top "Value Investing" publication available. Our value reports will include analysis of a wide variety of stocks ranging from small to mega caps and will include numerous new features, the most prominent of which will be a custom scoring system that will rank companies based off their growth, valuation, future and technicals, giving our readers a valuable tool in what we consider the hardest aspect of investing, stock picking.
The formatting of these reports will include in-depth stock and company analysis, followed by valuation and investing plans to execute on these decisions. These reports will go hand in hand with our already existing "Value Stock Spotlight" which covers our favorite value stocks, but they will be published at a more consistent rate of about 1-2 per week.
Our new model will also include a vast education section that will help our readers understand balance sheets, how to value companies and most importantly, how to create trading plans to ensure maximum profits on your investments once a specific stock is selected. We will also be including numerous resources to help our readers become their own value investors and take charge of their portfolios by employing the strongest investing methods available.
We believe this shift from being a simple "news" publication to a larger research publication will provide our readers and unequaled edge in markets and help them to enhance their returns.
However, our news element is here to stay, we will still be covering relevant market stories as they come up, simply not on a scheduled basis as we have in the past. This is to allow our writers more flexibility to work on research and stock presentations as we enter a new era for Andy's Angle.
We expect our new lineup of articles and features to be launched next week, with the expectation of adding new writer to our team as we continue to narrow our focus and find our niche within the investing world.
Value investing is a investing strategy forgotten in current times, despite both its current and historical outperformance compared to any other investing or trading strategy. We will bring the advantages and methods of value investing to our readers and expect great things in the very near future.
We expect many questions about this transition, so we remind members that they can leave comments at the bottom of our posts, or email us directly at atrartism@gmail.com. We will respond to all inquiries, whether in the comments or our inbox as soon as we can, and help our readers continue to reap the most value possible from our publication.
